Photo Project with Candy

The project was to create 3 different photos of candy organized and composed in real space.

There were some rules; we could only use one type of candy, but we could use as much or less candy of this type as we want. Only the actual candy could be used. And a big NO was that the candy could not include chocolate!

I bought two packages of “Mike&Ike Tropical Typhoon”. I choose it because I wanted to have many lovely colors. When I heard it should be in “real space” I thought it was meant to be outside, so I walked around campus and took all my pictures. It was so fun because people stopped and ask me if I was okay when I was lying on the ground and took photos. Then I explained that this was a design project and they started to laugh. Everybody thought it was a fun project! And I like this assignment too. It was interesting to try the candy in different environments. Unfortunately I lost my inspiration after a couple of hours and went back home again.
